Lewis admits that his disease can influence his performance. Still, his tics occur in ‘ebbs and flows, and he notices the effects of Tourette’s less if he takes care of himself through regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

On the ITV chat program, he told host Jonathan Ross, 61,: ‘It gets worse occasionally on stage.’ It can have a significant impact on my performance at times.
