Megan Thee Stallion Shot Twice: Rapper Tory Lanez Allegedly Shouted “Dance B"

Megan Thee Stallion Shot Twice: Tory Lanez allegedly yelled “dancing b—” at Megan Thee Stallion as he shot at her feet as they exited Kylie Jenner’s Los Angeles residence last year.

According to Rolling Stone, LAPD Det. Ryan Stogner presented the horrifying revelation during a preliminary hearing on Tuesday. His testimony recalled police interviews with the “WAP” singer after she was allegedly shot in both feet by 25-year-old Lanez on July 12, 2020, around 4:30 a.m. in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood.

Tory Lanez says he did not shoot Megan Thee Stallion, but she says he did.

Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, said they were driving away from Jenner’s bash along with Lanez’s bodyguard and a friend of Stallion when an argument ensued and she demanded to be let out of the SUV.

“As she exited the vehicle, she heard Mr. Peterson yelling obscenities at her, and he stated, ‘Dance, b—!’ And he then began firing a weapon at her,” Stogner testified.

“(Megan) observed Mr. Peterson holding a firearm, and then she observed him start to shoot,” he continued. “Megan immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence…She described her injuries as bleeding profusely.”

Megan also told authorities the “Alone at Prom” rapper apologized and offered her money not to report him, noting that he was on probation at the time.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was charged in October 2020 with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to all counts last month.

While she initially told authorities she injured her feet by stepping on broken glass, Megan later took to social media to speak out about the incident, writing in an Instagram post that she “suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

She later identified Lanez, who she was rumored to be dating at the time, as the man who shot her.

“I didn’t tell the police what happened immediately right then because I didn’t want to die. I don’t want the police to shoot me,” she wrote in an August Instagram post. “Even though he shot me, I tried to spare him. And ya’ll motherf—ers is not sparing me. That’s crazy.”

Lanez for his part has repeatedly denied shooting her.

Stogner’s testimony convinced Judge Keith Borjón that the rapper should stand trial on the felony charges. He is due back in court on Jan. 13.
