London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed that Ward has been charged with two counts of r@pe, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of s*xual assault. The alleged incidents involve one woman and reportedly occurred in January 2023 25.
Detective Superintendent Scott Ware stated:
“Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward—we know investigations of this nature can have a significant impact on those who make reports.”.
Ward, who denies all charges, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 28, 2025.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) emphasized the importance of a fair trial. Catherine Baccas, deputy chief crown prosecutor, said:
