The famous rapper of the “Barbie World”, Nicki Minaj, amazed her never-ending fans with a long-time decision to pause social media for a minimum of 10 years. In a shocking move, the rap artist lets everyone know that she will be, “Deleting all apps” and she won’t be on the social platforms until 2035 year.
Directly after Minaj’s conflicts with Debra Antney, the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, she moved to the new announcement. She said some aggressive things about Antney like “clickbait” and that she wasn’t correctly informed concerning something.
Minaj made it very explicit, saying,
“I DIDN’T ASK YOU TO DO A THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it with me FIRST.”
She also re-phrased her enthusiasm for the performance and the fact that she only wanted her friend Foxy Brown to be the one to join her on stage, not Antney.
Despite the scandal, Minaj was seemingly very upbeat as she was caught on tape boarding her private jet, along with her husband Kenneth Petty. The “Barbie World” performer was very enthusiastic and even showed her happy vibe with a big smile on her face and a little hand gesture as if she said she was at last free of the public intrusion.
Minaj’s decision to step away from social media for more than a decade is a significant decision mainly because she has been intensely involved on different platforms, usually socializing with her adoring fanbase, the “Barbz.” The rapper’s revelation has resulted in many of her supporters’ guessing about her upcoming plans and the probable consequence of her extended leave.
Social media undergoes constant changes, and Nicki Minaj’s resolution in retreat for the next eleven years has not escape conversations and piqued people’s curiosity not only the fans but the whole of music as well.
