Playboi Carti Reveals Star-Studded Tracklist for “I AM MUSIC”

Playboi Carti has solidified his place as one of hip-hop’s biggest names, and his fans are eagerly awaiting his next move. After teasing “I AM MUSIC” for what feels like ages, the album is still not out.

It was initially set to release at midnight, but that got pushed back to 3 AM EST. Then, things stalled again, and according to DJ Akademiks, it’s all due to some sample clearance issues. Fast forward to 7 AM, and we’re still waiting for the album to drop.

Many fans are understandably frustrated. On the bright side, though, we were treated to the tracklist, as Carti shared it on his burner account on Instagram. This upcoming album boasts 30 tracks, many of which were previously leaked on platforms like YouTube and Spotify. Finally, we’ll get to hear polished versions of these songs, which is pretty exciting. But honestly, at this point, fans are just itching to see the album available on Spotify.

The tracklist includes some massive features, with guest appearances from Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and even Young Thug.

Some of these artists make multiple appearances, which should lead to some interesting arrangements. While 30 tracks might seem like a lot, it’s understandable given how long fans have been waiting. Only time will tell if the album lives up to the hype.
