NFL star Randall Cobb and Family Escape Devastating Nashville Home Fire. Veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb and his family just went through one of the most dangerous situations in their life, the fire that made them leave their Nashville mansion, with only the clothes they were wearing, standing between life and death.

This week, a fire broke out at the house that NFL and his family live in at the Green Hills neighborhood in Nashville. It has been said that the garage that played host to the Tesla charger was the origin of the fire that happened late on Tuesday, June 25th. Nashville Fire Department promptly arrived on the scene and put out the fire and though the family was saved, there was much property loss.

Such a beautiful soul is Cobb’s wife Aiyda who gave her testimony on her Instagram account recounting the life-threatening situation that occurred, “We left the house absolutely naked and with bare feet on our way to the forest.” The couple’s social media accounts were adorned with images and videos of what happened, such as whole burned-out walls, blackened items and car parts which were melted.

The family mentioned to their utter satisfaction the fire department of Nashville. “We can’t express our gratitude enough of the swift response by Chief Caruthers, Captain Irvin, and Nashville Fire Department to the situation,” they told together in the statement. Cobb brought up a very moving instance of a firefighter being brave,

“The first instance of the brave firefighter getting into position hits me hard; he didn’t even bring his line yet. I assure you I was positive that the cars would blow up and he would die as a result of this incident. He’s a real hero,” he asked.

Even though their house and personal stuff were extremely damaged, the Cobb family is not discouraged and instead, they cherish more the health and safety of each other besides the material stuff.

“Whether or not there is redeemable items, we can’t say; but, this is a wake-up call that there is nothing greater than people’s health,” – Cobb gave this statement.

The family is presently living with friends in Nashville after the fire knocked their home to the ground.

The 33-year-old Randall Cobb is without a team after his last NFL season with the New York Jets. Cobb is a native of Tennessee who also played for the Green Bay Packers in 2011, after his college football years at the University of Kentucky. In his 13-year career, Cobb has also been on the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans rosters, after rejoining the Packers in 2021 and being traded to the Jets in 2023.

Although the family starts the rebuilding phase, they still have only kind words for the streams of support that came from their community and respective pals. “We are blessed with a great local network in Nashville, and our close buddies who aided us with a covered place and also gave us shoulders to cry on have also played the happiest part of it,” Cobb said for the family.
