Alshareef used to be a teacher, but now he spends most of his time running EmanRush Audio and AlMaghrib Institute.
He was a founding member of the Al-Maghrib Institute, where he presently teaches Islam lectures. Al-Maghrib Institute lectures have been presented in fourteen locations across the United States and Canada.

It is the most widespread Islamic university-level teaching system in North America. He also created Khutbah.com and EmanRush Audio, and he frequently participates with the AlMaghrib Forums’ online community.
