Sabrina’s Current Happiness and Future Plans

Today, Sabrina is in a much brighter place. She has launched her own marketing agency and is embracing solo travel. In a heartfelt social media post, she expressed profound gratitude for her life’s journey and growth.

She even plans to host a “Thank God I’m not married” party in Greece for her wedding guests, covering their expenses as a thank you for their support. This event symbolizes her closure and positive move forward.

Sabrina posted on Instagram: “It’s wild what a difference a year makes… This year? I’m happy. Truly, deeply happy and so beyond grateful for this life and the journey that has brought me here… Here’s to growth, joy & the journey.”

She also told Cosmopolitan UK: “I’ve also got a big, kind of, ‘Thank God, I’m not married’ party in Greece in October.”

Sabrina Vittoria’s Emotional Journey Post-Split

Sabrina faced significant mental health challenges after her marriage ended. She was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, conditions she had never experienced before. The pressure of a public breakup took a heavy toll, leading to insomnia and social isolation.

She admitted feeling embarrassed and withdrew from friends while processing the grief privately. Her therapy sessions became crucial in navigating this difficult period. Sabrina’s honesty about these struggles highlights the very real emotional impact reality TV relationships can have.

Sabrina stated: “I had to process what I’d lost and that this was going to be on TV and you’re going through a marriage breakdown with the world watching. And that was really difficult. I ended up with diagnosed depression, I was put on anxiety medication for the first time in my life.”

Reasons Behind the Split: Distance and Communication

The primary reasons for the split were long-distance pressures and poor communication. Sabrina lived in Belfast, while Steven was based in London. They had initially agreed to split their time between cities but struggled to maintain this plan.

Sabrina felt she made more effort, like purchasing household items for him, which went unreciprocated. Steven acknowledged they underestimated the strain of distance, which amplified small problems. They both agreed they lost their spark once the show’s luxurious environment ended and real-world stresses began.

Sabrina explained at the reunion: “We agreed that we were going to split our time between Belfast and London for the first year but that wasn’t the original plan and the communication was awful and there was no consistency in Steven’s behaviour towards me and the relationship.”

Steven responded: “We underestimated the pressure of what long-distance caused. We just lost our spark.”
