She told the Daily Star,

“I’ve been with This Morning since 1992. It’s been quite a journey. However, I’m now focusing on my own show, and I can’t juggle both.”

When she broke the news about stepping back, her colleagues were incredibly supportive. Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby reached out immediately, and the executives were really understanding. Vanessa will definitely miss working with everyone.

Reflecting on her time on This Morning, Feltz said,

“I’ve learned so much during my time there. When I first started, I had never been on TV before. I was totally overwhelmed, but they offered me a contract.”

She also shared her love for the show and her colleagues on Instagram, saying,

“I love This Morning and all my friends there. Big hugs and kisses to everyone. Tune in for lunch weekdays on 5 @5_tv at 12:30 for some lively chats.”

Feltz first rose to fame with The Vanessa Show on ITV, which aired from 1994 to 1998. She then moved to the BBC, where she hosted Vanessa Feltz Breakfast on BBC London and an early morning show on BBC Radio 2.

After nearly 20 years with the BBC, she left in 2022 and started her own TV show, hosting it for two years. Although she stepped away from TalkTV, she continued to make appearances on This Morning. In November, she took over the Sunday slot on LBC, replacing former Countdown star Carol Vorderman.

Her new show will debut as Channel 5, including its on-demand platform My5, undergoes rebranding to simply ‘5’, aiming to create a cohesive identity for its linear and streaming offerings.

This relaunch will feature an expanded array of programming from various Paramount brands like BET, CBS, Comedy Central, and MTV Entertainment Studios, plus 15 live channels available on the ‘5’ free streaming service.
