For his fraudulence act, he was paid R1 453 561.47, which is roughly $99,185, and due to this, he might face imprisonment for 20 years. After committing such frauds, he fled from South Africa to the USA.
Similarly, a J50 warrant of arrest has been made against him as he failed to appear twice at the Cape Town Regional Court on fraud charges. He will be deported from the USA to South Africa, where the court will take further legal actions against him.

Fluffypony was living in the U.S. and was captured and arrested in Nashville in 2021. He had been released after the arrest and talked to his attorney to go back to his home to address the issue.
He clarified his arrest and intention through one of the tweets on Twitter. According to the court document released by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee Nashville Division, he had to surrender to the U.S. marshall on July 5 for extradition to South Africa.
