The Morgellons syndrome shares many characteristics with delusional parasitosis, a mental disorder marked by delusions of parasite infestation. In 2013 during her interview with The Star, Mitchell denied that the disease is psychological or the Morgellons patients are delusional.

Singer asserted that the nature of her current state is unfamiliar. Fatigue, memory loss, and a tingling sensation under the skin are symptoms of the condition.

Joni Mitchell was born to Myrtle Marguerite and William Andrew Anderson. In 1982, she married Larry Klein, who collaborated with her on her albums “Wild Things Run Fast’ and ‘Turbulent Indigo.’ In 1994, they divorced.

She is regarded as one of the greatest songwriters and artists in history and as of 2022, she has a net worth of $100 million. More than $19 million was drawn from her record sales over her varied musical career.

Most of her income is from her millions of albums throughout her 40 years of a musical career. She is also a painter and her album covers are done by herself. Depending on the size and material of the artwork, her works were sold at auction for prices ranging from 1,000 USD to 5,760 USD.
