The Tampa Bay Lightning Player Corey Perry is fit and ready to play in the next match after being injured in an unfortunate way last month. There has been no news of Corey having any relapse in his injury.

He had a severe cut over his right eye during pregame warmups for Game 2 of the team’s series against the Florida Panthers on Thursday night, but it didn’t affect him once the puck dropped.

Thus, we consider that he has fully healed from it and learned from his mistake.

Tampa Bay Lightning will face the New York Rangers, and Perry, who plays as a striker, is already focusing on beating the goalie (Igor Shesterkin) of his opponents as he knows that Igor is very talented and will stop any shots that he sees coming.

In May, Corey Perry was injured badly in pregame warmups when a puck deflected over the crossbar and caught him in the face, tearing him open before Game 2.

He was warming up without a helmet when a puck he shot ricocheted off the goal’s crossbar and into his face, causing a cut over his eye.

He was patched up and went on to play in the game for the Lightning, scoring the game’s opening goal on his way to a 2-1 victory and a 2-0 series lead heading back to Tampa for Game no. 3 and 4.

On May 16, 1985, Corey Perry was born in New Liskeard, Ontario, to Geoff (father) and Nancy Perry (mother). He was the first of two boys. He and his family relocated from Haileybury, Ontario, to Peterborough, Ontario, when he was ten years old.
