Presenter Gaby Roslin face allergies at an early age made her young self decisive for the time to come. She has a history of cancer survivors in the family.

Her father, Clive, died of bowel cancer, and her husband, David, has ulcerative colitis.

Roslin was diagnosed with a wheat allergy in her early thirties.

“When my father was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 1996, I realized I had to learn more about health and nutrition,” Gaby, 57, says.

“No pun intended; I wanted to get to the bottom of it!” That is something I continue to do. I read medical journals rather than magazines.

From 1989 to 1992, Roslin hosted Hippo on the Superchannel and then Motormouth on ITV.

Planet 24 approached her at the end of that show and asked her to co-host their new early-morning show, The Big Breakfast, on Channel 4 with Chris Evans.

She was also the face of the National Egg Awareness Campaign during her final year on the show.

Gaby went on to host The Gaby Roslin Show for Channel 4 after her departure.

Gaby Roslin parents, Clive Roslin and Jackie Roslin, both are aware of the showbiz business. 

In 1995, Roslin married musician Colin Peel; the couple divorced in 2004. Libbi-Jack, the couple’s daughter, was born in 2001.

Amelie, Roslin’s daughter from her relationship with publisher boyfriend, David Osmon, was born in December 2006.

In a Jewish ceremony, the couple got engaged in March 2012 and married on June 22, 2013. 

Roslin is a patron of CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity, and the Breakthrough Breast Cancer £1,000 challenge, a breast cancer charity.

She supports the HAWC charity (Help Adolescents With Cancer.

After hosting their awards night in 2014, Roslin became an ambassador for the children’s charity WellChild.

Roslin changed networks in 2003, co-hosting The Terry and Gaby Show with Terry Wogan on Five (now Channel 5).

The magazine format could not compete with ITV’s long-running This Morning, and the show was canceled after 200 episodes on March 26, 2004.
