Paul Sinha illness was reported as Parkinson’s disease in 2019. The professional quizmaster was invited to appear on Loose Women in April 2022 to discuss his journey thus far during Parkinson’s Awareness Week.
In an event, Sinha mentioned, “To be honest with you, Covid has had a bigger role in my life than Parkinson’s because the latter is a much slower process than a pandemic that affects the entire world.”
When asked how he felt, Paul was forthright and honest, saying, “I’m OK, to be honest with you. I received a diagnosis in 2019, which was a bit of a shock. Parkinson’s is a slow disease, and I’m still in good health.
“My husband Oliver is such a calm and practical person,” he remarked and said he doesn’t worry excessively.
Furthermore, praising his husband, he said, “He has been a terrific help and is currently putting together a biryani as we speak. He’s been fantastic.”

After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, Paul Sinha said he fits in quite well with the slow disease. In an interview, Paul did share his success story in Comedy.
Sinha attended St. George’s Hospital Medical School and Dulwich College for his education. Former general practitioner Sinha obtained his license in the 1990s.
Paul honed his comedic skills as co-editor of the medical school magazine, known as the Slag Mag, and developed a love for the stage while a student at St. George’s annual revue.
Sinha started doing stand-up, serving as a junior physician in hospitals in London and King’s Lynn.
His early writing heavily employed puns and relied on his sexuality and ethnicity. He finished third in the 1999 Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition.
Sinha’s breakthrough came with his second solo Edinburgh show, Saint or Sinha? After several years of juggling touring with his budding medical career won him awards.
