At present, Negus routinely attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. She has stated that the show forced the women participants to drink alcohol, which for her means “all hell breaks loose.” She has also admitted that she got caught up in reality TV drama.

Ronnie Negus Had Recently Healed From Her Traumatic Past
RHOV star, Ronnie Negus nearly lost her daughter, Remy Stevenson, in the year 2013. She is now at peace with her troubled past.
Her young daughter could have died after choking on a piece of steak and was declared clinically dead.
According to the medical reports, Remy had lost oxygen in her brain for almost 22 minutes. Eventually, the paramedics announced that she was already deceased. Negus had shared her story saying: “She was 22 minutes down, It was horrific. She turned solid blue. I went into absolute shock.”
To make things worst, Ronnie’s family’s housekeeper also suffered from a heart attack while giving CPR to Remy. Luckily, both survived, but Remy’s cognition did not remain the same after the incident. Her daughter now lives on Salt Spring Island, surrounded by the caretakers.

Negus was married to Russel Negus, the owner of Abacus Private Equity. She is now already separated from him after 15 years.
Her husband was arrested in the year 2010 for inflicting corporal injury and abusing her.
