AJ Griffin is not the only Athletic son of Audrey and Adrian Griffin. He was raised alongside his two siblings, a brother Alan Griffin, and a sister Aubrey Griffin. Both have played college basketball.
Alan played collegiate at Illinois Fighting Illini and Syracuse Orange whereas Aubrey played at UConn. Alan plays for the Newfoundland Growlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
