Who Is Kevin Seefried Delaware?
Kevin Seefried is an ordinary citizen who made headlines on January 6, 2021, when he openly called the Confederate Battle Flag a symbol of violent opposition to the United States government.
According to masslive.com, he was among the first of a slew of pro-Trump rioters to storm the Capitol building, which was certified election results.
The Seefrieds drove from their home in Laurel, Delaware, to Washington to hear Trump speak at the “Stop the Steal” rally on January 6. Prosecutors said they stopped by their car after the event before joining the mob that attacked the Capitol.

Hunter Seefried also has the same charge that his father had and is headed for trial which starts this Monday.
He is also recognized as a terrorist on Twitter after he is accused of a felony count of obstruction of an official proceeding, the joint session of Congress for certifying President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.

The acquittal of a New Mexico man by a federal judge in April was a rare blot on the Justice Department’s record of getting convictions in riot cases in the United States Capitol. A Delaware father and son are hoping the same judge would free them as well, more than two months later.
U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden will hear testimony without a jury in the Seefried bench trial, which is expected to begin on Monday. They waived their right to a jury trial, so their cases will be decided by McFadden
So far, McFadden is the only judge to hold a bench trial in a matter involving the Capital riots.
According to 6abc.com, defense attorneys argued during the trial’s opening comments that the Seefried’s had no intention of interfering with the Electoral College vote total. Indeed, one of Kevin’s lawyers, Elizabeth Mullin, informed the judge that “Kevin was not even aware that the electoral count was underway in the Capitol.”
A felony count of obstruction of official action, the joint session of Congress for recognizing President Joe Biden’s electoral victory, has been filed against both Kevin and Hunter Seefried.
