On October 30, 1984, Cameron was born to Nick and Kelly in New South Wales, Australia. His grandmother was of Italian descent and immigrated to Australia from Italy as a child.
Cameron Ciraldo’s Rugby Career
Being a football fan from childhood, Ciraldo made his NRL debut with the team Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the year 2005 playing against the Melbourne Storm at Endeavour Field.
In 2009, he competed for Italy in the Australian Mediterranean (Aus-Med) Shield at Marconi Stadium, Sydney.
It was the same year when Cameron had his unfortunate accident, also remembered as “One of the most terrible injuries on a football field.”
While playing against Cronulla-Sutherland at Toyota Stadium, his ankle turned at about 90 degrees shattering his fibula in four places, further dislocating his ankle.
