Lana Theis Email On Twitter, Mallory McMorrow Grooming Allegations

Democratic Michigan state senator Mallory McMorrow faces grooming allegations.

Lana Theis, a Republican state legislator, baselessly accused her of wanting to groom and sexualize kindergartens in a fundraising email this week. Andrew Roth on Twitter reported the news on 18 April 2022.

In response, Mallory tweeted a short clip of her Senate floor speech the next day, defending herself. The video has over 10 million views. She then followed it with a flurry of other tweets.

She wrote about how Lana couldn’t claim that she was targeting marginalized kids in the name of parental rights.

The argument between the two lawmakers reportedly began after Mallory gave her thoughts on the prayer that the representative of the 22nd district of the Michigan Senate delivered last week. It partially claimed that the children were under attack from progressive ideals.

Then Theis responded with a campaign email full of evidenceless claims. Moreover, GOP lawmakers frequently use the term”grooming” in an attempt to push restrictions on how schools address sexuality and gender identity.

Mallory bashed the baseless claims, arguing that she, as a parent, wishes the society to support and respect her daughter for whoever she becomes as she thinks that the current condition of the country’s infrastructures isn’t due to the people who are different.

Further, she believes no child and other people alive today share any responsibility for slavery, but everyone is responsible for writing history.

And at the end, Mallory ended her speech by saying, “we will not let hate win.”
