Moreover, his rampage during the shooting spree had targeted several tattoo shops. Three of his five victims were employed in the nearby shops.
The name of three tattoo shop owners is Alicia Cardenas, Alyssa Gunn-Maldonado, and Danny Scofield.
The fourth man who died during the incident was shot in the street. Additionally, a woman employed at Hyatt House in Belmar was also killed by McClay the following night.

They also note that McClay had been on the Law Enforcement radar for a very long time.
McClay’s real name is Lyndon McLeod and Roman is only his pen name. He has written a series of books called “Sanction” under the pen name.
His first book was released in 2018. Later, Sanction II and Sanction III were published in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
As per his neighbors, numerous hidden gun safes were mounted in his home. McClay had lived an unusual lifestyle throughout his life.
Police reports also suggest that McLeod was involved in two recent investigations, one in 2020 and another in 2021
Although, they did not comment on what he was investigated for. Neither, they have stated his motive behind the killing spree.
