Who Was Tanita Myers From Black Information Network?
Tanita Myers from Black Information Network was a producer, broadcaster, manager, and anchor for local news. She worked at Reach Media for 15 years as senior director of radio operations before joining the Black Information Network at iHeartMedia. Previously, Myers held the positions of Executive Producer of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show and Director of Operations for The Tom Joyner Morning Show. Various radio stations in Phoenix, Dallas, and Flint, Michigan, have played her on the air.
She started her career as a midday host or promotional director at Mobley Broadcasting in 1992. Two years later, she went on to work as an entertainment reporter at Phoenix Radio Stations.

Sharpening her skills, she was a morning show co-host at the Broadcast in 1996 and then executive producer in August 2004 for Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
Myers spent most of her life at Reach Media Inc, almost six years as Director of radio operations and almost ten years as senior director of radio operations.
Before getting into the Black Information Network, she was an executive producer at Westwood One for one and half years. She created format clocks, developed benchmarks/features, coached on-air talent, booked guests, executed morning show promotions, established community relationships, directed morning show imaging, and implemented PR initiatives and special projects as designated by the Operations Manager.

Twitter is currently in mourning after the death of iHeartMedia employee Tanita Myers. One of her colleagues, Rolands Martin, said, “This morning has already started off difficult. The other day, I posted about losing a colleague. That person was Tanita Myers, the director of news operations for @iHeartRadio ’s @blackinfonet. Tanita and I worked together at @TJMShow ’s REACH Media, and she was our liaison.”
He further revealed that she was found unresponsive in her room and was taken to Tulane Hospital. However, despite all the efforts, she never gained her consciousness back. After some time, her family took off the life support, and Tanita was declared dead.

The saddest part is that she had her birthday plans and could never make it to that day. People remember her as a bundle of joy, someone with so much energy. She had the ability to make others happy just by her presence.
