David Dobrik apologized to Jeff Written for the horrific eye damage for which he was judged responsible.
The public apologies, on the other hand, did not go over well on the internet.
Before the tragic catastrophe, David included Jeff in several of his vlogs, and the two were good friends.
As Dobrik drove the excavator, Wittek hanged off it and shot a stunt for the former’s vlog.
He was seriously injured and nearly lost an eye as a result of a reckless stunt. They’ve been at odds ever then.
In the most recent podcast, David addressed their issue.

As of the time of writing this piece, the audio video “Discussing What Happened” had over 103k views on YouTube.
Despite this, the supporters were unimpressed with his apology.
Many people assumed the YouTuber was trying to avoid taking responsibility for his conduct.
Interestingly, Dobrik revealed in the podcast that Wittek did not want his followers to know that he was the one who thought of getting swung by the excavator.

Jeff Wittek, a YouTuber, has spoken out against David Dobrik, a former partner and friend, stating that he has cut him out of his life.
Wittek received injuries to his face and head after being hung on a rope attached to an excavator in June 2020.
The incident’s video was released to YouTube in April 2021.
Jeff said during a live stream in February 2022 that David had not messaged him to check in following his awful accident.
“I’m done being false buddies with that motherf***er,” he declared.
Furthermore, Wittek recalled Dobrik reportedly offering to pay for his medical bills but then failing to do so.
