Why Did XXXTentacion Predict His Own Death?

There were rumors about XXXTentacion’s murder in an Instagram Live video he posted without a date stamp. In the video, he says, “If a worse thing comes to worst, and I fucking die or some shit and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and were able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life.”

Despite all the negativity around his name and the awful things people say about him, the rapper said, “If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some form of solutions or resolve in my life.”

There is presently no way to determine when the film was recorded, however many have claimed it was his “final” Instagram Live video before his death.

The lawyer for XXXTentacion has said that his client was murdered despite his repeated advice that he take precautions to protect himself.

David Bogenschutz, an attorney, remembered advising Onfroy to increase his security measures. That he was “beyond the point” of being “a youngster making songs on a street corner,” as Bogenschutz put it, necessitated “talking about him needing security.” The rapper reportedly did not have a security detail with him when he was killed.

Where Is XXXTentacion Now?

XXXTENTACION was shot dead on June 18, 2018. He was 20 years old.

The BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida hosted an open casket service for him on June 27, 2018, so that his many admirers could pay their condolences. A private burial service was held for him on June 28, 2018, and guests included Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, and Erykah Badu.

He was laid to rest in a mausoleum in the Gardens of Boca Raton Memorial Park in Boca Raton, Florida.

Some fans think he faked his own death

While officials have confirmed the rapper’s death, several of his admirers on social media insist he is still alive and faked it. In one widely posted Twitter thread, the rapper is said to have faked his own suicide for media purposes before confessing that it was all for a music video.

There is no indication that XXXTentacion had a single coming under the name ‘No Pulse,’ but Twitter user @vasinvain claims that the musician may have faked his own death due to “the amount of conspiracy in his life along with the overwhelming popularity.”

The tweeter then claims that the rapper in the video is double because there is “no blood, no shattered glass, no gunshot holes” in the footage taken at the location of the crime.

XXXTentacion Career

Following the release of his debut single “News/Flock” in June 2013, Onfroy embarked on a successful music career. Reports from interviews suggest that he met fellow artist Stokeley Goulbourne, better known by his stage name Ski Mask the Slump God while serving time for gun possession as a juvenile. Some of the people questioned for a book set to be released in 2020 challenge this version of events, claiming instead that the two met in high school.

Goulbourne and Onfroy hit it off and started freestyling together. Onfroy claimed he was polite to the guards and staff members during his time in jail, and that he often stepped in to prevent assaults between inmates. However, he admitted to attacking a homosexual cellmate who had been gazing at him as he changed clothes. Onfroy claimed he was not homophobic and that the event had nothing to do with the inmate’s sexuality.

He and Goulbourne reunited in 2013 after Onfroy’s release from a juvenile detention center, planning to perform a series of home invasions for financial gain. However, Onfroy acquired a Blue Snowball microphone and started recording music, which inspired Goulbourne to do the same.

Under his new stage name, XXXTentacion, Onfroy released his first song, “Vice City,” on SoundCloud. When asked why he gave up crime for music, Onfroy credited his ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala for helping him see that music was a healthier way to express his emotions.
