According to an MSNBC representative, Craig Melvin will be leaving the MSNBC Today show to pursue a better position within the network.
As per his own statement, he will quit MSNBC’s 11 a.m. hour by April 1. Similarly, until his permanent replacement is announced, the hour will be hosted by a rotating roster of anchors.
Meanwhile, he will be working as an anchor for NBC’s Today and co-hosting Today’s Third Hour on weekday mornings.
But, there is a twist to this, this news was announced a day before April 1, infamously known as April Fool’s day, so we don’t know the veracity of the news.
Besides, he even tweeted about the day, saying it’s the time of the year, so don’t get fooled.
