Her followers are curious as to why the journalist is leaving 7.3 Report in light of recent news.

1995 saw the ABC recruit Sales in Brisbane. Since then, Sales has worked for the ABC in a variety of capacities, principally as a political correspondent in New South Wales during the state elections in 1999 and 2007. She also commented on the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Why Is Leigh Sales Leaving 7.3 Report?

Leigh Sales is leaving 7.30, the ABC’s top evening current affairs program, after 12 years in charge.

She has questioned prime ministers, world leaders, and famous persons from various spheres of life, including actors, athletes, and celebrities.

The impact of the coronavirus epidemic on Sales’ young family was alluded to when she remarked that her kids James and Daniel had “only ever known their mum at work four evenings a week.”

According to Sales, her now-8 and now-11-year-old children have never known a time when their mother wasn’t working four evenings a week.

She continued, “They’re two wonderful little boys, so I don’t think that’s too much to ask,” in reference to their request for me to bring them home before 8.30 p.m.

Likewise, she is also praised and criticized for her interviews in return, attacked on social media for apparent favoritism and bias.

As Sales prepares for her farewell 7.30 interview on June 30, one of the toughest and busiest interviewers in the country asks her questions.
