Why Is Ruby Stokes Leaving Bridgerton? As She Is Recast By Hannah Dodd To Play Francesca Bridgerton?

Ruby Stokes is all set to star in her own lead Netflix show leaving her part on the Bridgerton. She entertained her audience for two seasons on the show and delivered the character perfectly well.

Looking at her talent as an actor, Netflix has offered her a show of her own and the actress grabbed the opportunity. Even though she had a significant role in her previous series, the actress proved that she has a calculative mind to take on the show that could possibly give her more arenas to perform and display her versatility.

Stokes, on the other hand, will be seen in another Netflix series after landing the lead in Lockwood & Co.

The Netflix and Shondaland series said in a release, that Francesca Bridgerton was a bit of a mystery inside her talkative, outgoing family. Despite her reclusive character, she plays along to get along in social events, reinforced with caustic wit and pragmatism that confounds the fickle ton while seeming to gain notice when she least wants it.

Hannah Dodd will portray the reclusive and secretive Bridgerton sister in Season 3, as first reported by Deadline.

As Dodd takes over the position, the character will have more opportunities to shine. The character has brief and minimal appearances in the show in the first and second seasons leaving very little for Ruby to show her flair as an actor.

If the Netflix series follows the chronology of Quinn’s novels, season six will center on Francesca, the second youngest sibling, and will be based on the sixth book, When He Was Wicked.

The Netflix series Bridgerton returns to production this summer for its third season.

Hannah is 26 years old, having been born on May 17, 1995. She has already appeared in hit series at this young age, demonstrating her ability as an actress. She is a very brilliant British actress who is also well-known in other English-speaking nations.

Dodd played a younger version of Sienna Miller’s character in David E. Kelley’s Netflix anthology series Anatomy of a Scandal.

Her other credits include Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, Hulu’s Harlots, and the adolescent drama Find Me in Paris. She recently wrapped filming on the Enola Holmes sequel alongside Millie Bobby Brown.
