Yakiboy, the bodybuilding influencer who boasts about his ‘Lamborghini body’, is behind bars and under lockdown, days after an elite police squad arrested him over a wild street brawl.
Hossein Balapour’s bail was revoked on Monday following a dawn raid by elite NSW Police Raptor Squad officers who stormed his gym and hauled him away in handcuffs.
The social media personality’s arrest came three days after video footage emerged of him allegedly fighting in broad daylight on a busy road with a high-profile personal trainer in Sydney’s east.
Daily Mail Australia has learned that police successfully applied to have the Versace-loving gym junkie’s liberty revoked, with Balapour swapping his designer gear for prison greens at the city’s Parklea Correctional Centre.
The same prison went into lockdown on Friday morning with the guards’ union going on strike over safety issues, related to its reputation as the state’s most violent jail.

This means hulking Balapour is among 1350 inmates locked in their cells with no release into the prison yards for at least 48 hours, no access to the prison gym and food limited to what the jai supplies.
The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) says Parklea – where a July 2021 riot by inmates caused millions of dollars in damages – has the worst record for serious assaults on prison officers in the state.
Striking officers formed a picket line outside the jail on Friday morning, and the facility will run on heavily restricted movement of inmates for the weekend, with visits cancelled and prisoners confined to their cells.
Balapour normallt trains six days a week on weights, does cardio on Sundays and eats a lean, high-protein diet of egg whites, skinless chicken breast, kimchi, and lots of greens.
This is so the hulking but ‘ripped’ six foot five, 107kg muscleman can make a living posting pictures of his body on Instagram, modelling clothes and posting X-rated content on his OnlyFans page.
Even the routine prison menu of white bread and jam for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and a tinfoil hot dinner including rice, pasta or potato could be substituted with less healthy options – such as pies – under strike conditions.
Balapour will be reduced to keeping fit by doing sit-ups in a tiny, shared 2m by 3m cell.
His Instagram page, which has more than 350,000 fans, has been silent since his incarceration.

Under strike lockdown the jail meals are likely to be restricted even further to offerings like these prison pies (above) pictured at Silverwater’s vast remand centre
One Instagram follower has written a mocking line below Balapour’s Instagram post saying ‘fly above the negativity’, quipping that the bodybuilder could now ‘chill out in jail. Fly above the negativity you say… LOL’
When he was arrested, Balapour, 28, had been out on bail for a separate assault charge for which he has pleaded not guilty.
Following the January 17 street fight, with onetime friend and well-known body builder Marven Yacoub, he was charged with fighting, carrying a knife and breaching his bail.
In video of the fight, Balapour appears to attack Yacoub while the two are standing with a group of men on a road in the inner Sydney suburb of Zetland.
After Balapour struck Yacoub with a series of kicks and punches before pulling out a weapon. He then chase him through traffic and continuing to beat him, before other men intervened and broke up the fight.

Personal WhatsApp messages between Balapour and Yacoub appear to show the brawl was caused by a dispute over money.
‘Hey bro you need to transfer $2110 this week,’ Yacoub wrote on December 20.
Balapour replied: ‘Hey brother yes but I do half because I have to pay $1200 to my lawyer.’
He went on to say he would send as soon as he has the money.

‘Ok brother no problem,’ Yacoub replied.
‘Thank you brother,’ Balapour added.
Yacoub later said: ‘Don’t believe what you see on socials. Money is the root of all evil.
‘Moral of the story is. People quickly forget what you do for them. But don’t believe the hype of what people show they have on socials.’
