Execution Nears – Who Are Julius Jones Parents? Meet Mother Madeline Davis Jones and Father

Julius Jones was born to his parents Madeline Davis Jones and his father in 1980. He is 41 years of age as of now. Her mother was still hopeful for Julius.

Julius is scheduled to be executed today, 19 November for the 1999 shooting death of Edmond businessman Paul Howell during a carjacking. 

Julius pleaded innocent and said he was framed by the actual killer, who was his high school friend and co-defendant who testified against him.

He was released from prison after 15 years of imprisonment. Julius kept on maintaining his innocence for two decades and was finally pronounced to receive lethal injection.

The government of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, had granted clemency to Julius, a death row inmate. He reduced Julius’s sentence for the murder to life in prison.

There would not be any possibility of parole. However, the parole board had recommended life with the possibility of parole. His statement was;

“After prayerful consideration and reviewing materials presented by all sides of this case, I have determined to commute Julius Jones’ sentence to life imprisonment.”

Madeline Davis Jones is the mother of Julius Jones. His father’s name and whereabouts are not known. However, her mother has stood beside him to save him.

She met briefly with several House Democrats before walking to Stitt’s office. An office with teh Republican governor’s office failed to see him.

They asked her to fill the visitor’s form as a request to see him as a visitor. Many supporters are there along with Julius’s mother pleading for clemency.

Antoinette Jones is the sister of Julius. Julius was scheduled today, 19 November 2021 to be executed. On 17 November, his sister visited the Capitol.

She pleaded with the hopes of meeting Oklahoma Government Kevin Stitt. Julius seems to have one sibling only who is Antoinette Jones. 

Other family members are not revealed. His mother and sister are supporting him with the maximum effort they could. It is obvious to expect such support from family.
