Eduardo Valseca is still alive and living his life with his three kids. They seem to be happy and stable after such a traumatic event.

Eduardo Valseca was the son of a Mexican Newspaper magnate but he had not inherited all of his father’s wealth, they had a comfortable lifestyle but were not wealthy to lead a prosperous life.

Moreover, he married his wife Jayne in 1994, they settled in the desert of Central Mexico where he rode horses and his wife tended to the garden.

However, after his kidnapping, the family moved to the Washington area in the Suburbs of Maryland. Jayne also grew up in the same place and graduated from the University of Maryland.

Eduardo Valseca’s wife Jayne Valseca died at the age of 45 due to breast cancer complications. After the kidnapping, she released a book with the help of Mark Ebner titled “We Have Your Husband” in 2011.

Similarly, she also appeared on the NBC’s Today show and the “Dateline” news program to advocate her feelings and truth, she has been a prominent member to help the families and victims of Mexico’s dangerous cartel.

To emphasize, her kids moved to Maryland Washington, they studied in the local high school and are currently following their endeavors.

Eduardo Valseca’s story has been told by many people including Valseca himself. Also, together with his wife, Mark wrote a book named “We Have Your Husband” which describes his journey from kidnapping to freedom.

Initially, Eduardo and his wife were targeted, by the Cartel men, after leaving their kids at school, they were returning home when an SUV slammed and a truck crashed at their rear end.

Jayne was dropped in an unknown location where she a note was found where the kidnapper asked for the ransom of 8 million dollars but both parties later agreed on less amount.

On the other hand, Eduardo was repeatedly beaten by members of the Sinaloa he had three broken ribs and was underweight after his release from captivity.
