Even though the gunman fired 33 rounds and tossed smoke bombs, authorities claim none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries. Many people who were treated at local hospitals have already been released, according to doctors.

The attacker reportedly put on a gas mask and shot two smoke grenades as the vehicle reached the 36th Street station in Sunset Park.
According to witness Fitim Gjeloshi, the gunman mumbled, “Oops, my mistake,” after opening the box and pulling out an ax and plunging it to the ground.
