Mark Hill from Richland Washington is very much alive at the moment but is fighting for his life at the hospital.

He was shot by a person identified as Aaron Christopher Kelly between 11 am to 11:07 am on Monday at the Fred Meyer grocery store he worked with.

Not just Hill but another customer of the store identified as Justin Krumbah was also shot in the Fred Meyer Shooting but he could not make it and died of gunshot wounds at the scene. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Richland community has gathered together to help Mark and are donating O+ blood type for the victim as a shortage of the blood type was seen in the local blood bank.

People have also created a GoFundMe page for Mark’s treatment and it has raised nearly $20k as of now despite the target being $10k initially.

While Mark is still fighting for his life at the hospital, he is getting better and was able to move his toes and gently squeeze his hands according to Tri-City Herald. The doctors have not revealed his condition yet but he seems to be out of danger at the moment.

Is Fred Meyer Shooting Suspect Arrested?

Fred Meyer shooting suspect Aaron Christopher Kelly was arrested by the authorities.

The suspect, Kelly, was detained without incident on I-90 between Sprague and Spokane, according to the Richland Police Department.

He was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he will be charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Kelly is reported to have mental problems and was suspected of shoplifting from another Fred Meyer store at Kennewick. He was also known to carry a pistol on him all the time which made his friends and roommate feel unsafe around him according to Oregon Live.
