On Friday morning (23 February 2019), Trevor Lee Morris was released with a surety bond of $12,500. Morris was ordered to have no contact with minors.
Similarly, Trevor Morris was not given access to the Internet or computers and was asked to have no unsupervised contact with the victim.
As per the Attorney General’s Office, Trevor Morris has to face 10 to 20 years of prison time if he is declared guilty of the crime.
