Unsettling information about Crimo started to surface as police delved deeper into their investigation of the gun attack that shattered the Fourth of July parade’s festive mood, killing six people and wounding more than two dozen more.
His uncle expressed on Monday that learning of the shooting left him “heartbroken.”
Who Are Robert Crimo Parents
Robert Crimo was born to Denise Pesina and Bob Crimo Sr. His father, Bob Crimo Sr., once ran for mayor. His mother, 48-year-old Denise Pesina, is interested in complementary medicine and seems to have converted to Mormonism.
Bob Crimo campaigned for mayor of the town in 2019, but it doesn’t seem like any political party supported him. Bob ran under the motto “A Person for the People.”
The town’s current mayor, Nancy Rotering, defeated him. In a pre-election biography, Bob claimed to be the proprietor of two eateries in the neighborhood: White Hen in Ravinia and Bob’s Pantry & Deli in Braeside, Illinois.

According to reports, Bob liked a tweet that said, “Protect the Second Amendment like your life depends on it,” on the day of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde.
According to her Facebook profile, Denise Pesina, the mother of Crimo, runs Trilogy Energy Systems, a healing practice. Pesina completed studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Ayurvedic Institute and Shanghai University.
Pesina was detained in Highland Park in February 2015 while driving and charged with domestic assault, according to Patch.

Lynette Pesina, Robert Crimo’s sister, who is 27 years old, is one of the suspect’s two siblings. The family resides in a $425,000 house in Highwood, not far from the shooting scene.
He is “the middle kid of three and of Italian descent,” according to Crimo’s profile.
According to Crimo’s IMDB page, he is Awake The Rapper, a “six-foot hip hop superstar” from Chicago who is an “American rapper, singer, composer, actor, and filmmaker” known for the hit song “On My Mind” from October 2018.
