The car was carried in a container, trying to cross the New South Wales-Queensland border where he might have hoped to make a jump overseas.
Apparently, he was caught traveling to Queensland at Tweed Heads about 1 am this morning in a sting involving AFP, NSW, and Queensland police.

Mostafa Baluch was wanted over an alleged $270 million cocaine smuggling operation.
He was suspected to be involved in the biggest-ever plot to allegedly import cocaine into Sydney, including 900 kilograms seized off Ecuador.
Apparently, he skipped his bail by breaking free from his ankle security bracelet and had been on the run for two weeks.
NSW Organised Crime Squad detectives have traveled to Queensland to catch Baluch. 9News reporter Mackenzie Colahan said Mr. Baluch’s extradition hearing has been delayed to tomorrow.
Mr. Baluch was scheduled to appear in Gold Coast court where his lawyer met many reporters but he refused to answer any questions.

Mostafa Baluch is a 33-year-old man who holds Australian Nationality.
He is from Sydney’s North Beaches and is wanted for allegedly violating the conditions of his bail after he was tagged with drug offenses in June.
His parents and at least four of his relatives were still at the Bayview family home when it was raided.
They were seen communicating on the balcony. It is believed that he spent his last weekend barbequing with family and friends. before escaping.

Baluch’s parents are originally from Afghanistan who came to Australia to give their children a better life. They are well-liked in the tight-knit Northern Beaches community.
They bought the Lucky and Pep’s pizzeria in Newport back in 2000. The restaurant operates as a family business with three of their children.
The restaurant earns millions of money which makes them quite rich.
Baluch followed his parent’s footsteps and opened his own restaurant, Cervo, in NorthBridge. He works as a chef there.
