Dorit Kemsley is opening up about her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley‘s recent DUI.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that PK had been arrested for driving under the influence when police noticed his grey Bentley weaving in traffic on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles.
His lawyer later issued a statement to TMZ, telling the outlet that he had gone out “for dinner that night, had a glass of wine and regrets not finding an alternative route of transportation.”
Dorit shared her thoughts on the incident during an interview at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said that PK was “very regretful” after his arrest.
“He fully understands the danger of drinking and driving. And I think it’s a real lesson to everybody that even if you have a glass of wine, a lot of us think that you can still drive, you really can and you should take a driver. He’s assured me that he will never do it again,” Dorit said, per People.
His arrest comes after Dorit was the victim of a terrifying home invasion, where she was held at gunpoint.
During her interview, Dorit shared that she was still dealing with the aftereffects of the robbery.
“There’s deep, deep trauma,” she explained. “I am taking day by day, but I’m doing therapy and doing all of the things I need to do to try to come up on the other side.”
