Kaleb Cooper, the well-known farm manager from Clarkson’s Farm, recently talked about a tough ankle injury, admitting it’s “not good.”
The 26-year-old posted an X-ray on Instagram that showed his swollen, fractured ankle and humorously mentioned that even though he’s “hobbling around,” he has no plans of slowing down just yet.

A Painful Tumble on the Football Field
Cooper shared that he got injured while playing a casual football game.
“I just got back from football and I’m trying to shut the chickens up, and then I look at that ankle—ahh, the pain, the pain!”
he said openly, while showing off a black boot he’s wearing for protection. After getting treatment at A&E and undergoing an X-ray, he revealed that he indeed has a fractured ankle.
Determined to Keep Working Despite the Pain
Regardless of his injury, Cooper reassured fans that he won’t let this hold him back. In a video shot on the farm, he stated:
“I may be hobbling around with my fractured ankle, but I’ll still be at the Three Counties Show on Sunday, and I’ll be setting up on Thursday. I’ll be doing talks throughout the day… Even though I may be hobbling, I’ll be there—don’t you worry.”
True to his word, he was later spotted tending to fresh hens in a coop—booted and limping, but hard at work. His dedication gives fans confidence that Diddly Squat Farm is still in good hands.
Jeremy Clarkson Offers Support – and Gentle Teasing
Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson chimed in on the farm’s dynamics. When the new autonomous AgBot T2 was brought into the mix, Cooper jokingly expressed his concern about being “out of a job.”

Clarkson playfully teased him by highlighting that the driverless tractor works around the clock, unlike people, and joked that the only thing preventing Cooper from getting the boot was the occasional glitches (like mice munching on wires).
