Is Tom Trbojevic Injured? What Happened To Him? Tom Trbojevic will be out for the next four weeks due to a knee injury, according to the Sea Eagles. Following the medical tear, he will have surgery.

Following the Sea Eagles’ 25-6 victory over the Raiders on Saturday, April 2, 2022, rugby player Tom Trbojevic suffered a significant knee injury.

Since 2015, Trbojevic, called “Tommy Turbo,” has been the Eagles’ main man. Meanwhile, tests conducted on Monday confirmed that the NRL star will be out for at least a month.

 

Injury Update: Tom Trbojevic Had Suffered A Knee Injury In The Match Against The Raiders

 

Tom Trbojevic was sent for surgery on a knee injury on Saturday night. His team Sea Eagles had fetched the 25-6 win over the Raiders the same night. He had lasted until the 80 minutes of the game.

However, had to leave the ground with pain in a knee brace.

Sea Eagles had published an official statement about Tom’s Condition. The NRL franchise wrote: “Manly Warringah Sea Eagles fullback Tom Trbojevic underwent scans today for a knee injury following Saturday’s match in Mudgee,”  

“Scans have revealed that Trbojevic has suffered a medial tear and will now undergo surgery. He will be out for a period of four weeks,” read the club statement.

So far this season, Trbojevic has been a key player for the eagles. On Saturday night, he was the best on the field, scoring a try and making seven tackle-breaks.

Manly Sea Eagles Fullback Out Of Game For Next Four Weeks 

 

Tom Trbojevic had met the surgeon on Monday, April 4, 2022. Also, the official statement from Sea Eagles notes that the fullback will miss the next four weeks.

Reuben Garrick or Dylan Walker will replace Trbojevic at the fullback position for Thursday’s clash against the Knights.

Meanwhile, Manly’s expected center Brad Parker will also miss the game following COVID. Utility player Dylan Walker is also sidelined following his knee injuries.

Tom Trbojevic will not play football for at least the next month.

In the best-case scenario, he might return against South Sydney in round eight. The worst-case scenario is a game versus the Broncos during Magic Round a fortnight later.

Trbojevic has previously dealt with injuries and operations. The fullback had struggled to comeback from a hamstring injury at the start of the season.

In the last two years, the 24-year-old has torn his hamstrings five times. He’d previously had a sublux shoulder injury and pec surgery.
