Stephen Boss Death 40-year-old Stephen “tWitch” Boss has reportedly passed away. According to TMZ, the DJ, who rose to fame for his performances on the Ellen Show, died by apparent suicide.

Stephen began spinning records on Ellen’s show in 2014 and continued until the show’s cancellation earlier this year. In 2020, Ellen promoted Stephen to Executive producer of the program.

A law enforcement source told the online newspaper Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, reportedly ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday because she was apprehensive that he had left the House without his car, which was uncharacteristic of him.

Shortly after, according to reports, the Police were called about a shooting at a hotel in Los Angeles; Stephen was discovered dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Stephen, a freestyle hip-hop dancer, choreographer, and television personality, was born on September 29, 1982.

He finished second in the 2008 So You Think You Can Dance season and has since collaborated with Ellen DeGeneres on her programs.

Since 2018, Stephen and Allison have cohosted Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings on Disney+. In addition to being a professional dancer, Allison has performed in live concert tours, television, and cinema.

The career of Stephen Boss

Twitch advanced to the semifinal of MTV’s The Wade Robson Show and finished second in the TV talent competition Star Search in 2003.

He also coordinated for South Korean pop/R&B singer Seven & helped YG Entertainment promote Big Bang and other artists.

In 2007, he had uncredited appearances as a “flamboyant dancer” in Blades of Glory and a Maybelle’s Store dancer in Hairspray.

Twitch and fellow competitor Katee Shean trained together after competing on So You Think You Can Dance.

On April 30, 2013, he and Allison Holker performed a choreographed dance on Dancing with the Stars. They then transitioned to a live rendition of “Crystallize” by Lindsey Stirling.

Twitch has been a guest DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show since April 1, 2014. He announced that he had been cast in Magic Mike XXL on October 1, 2014.

Twitch was appointed a Co-Executive Producer of Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show on August 17, 2020. In the upcoming superhero film Perfectus, Twitch was cast as Marcel X.
