Tennent eventually admitted to Mary’s murder and received a life sentence without the chance of release. He was also found guilty of breaking and entering and having a stolen vehicle. Tennent, then 44, expressed interest in becoming a woman in 2016.

Brown was charged with burglary after breaking into Witherspoon’s house and stealing a pair of her underwear in June 2003. After being released, she hunted and killed the teacher who had dated her father for years.

Brown maintains she is innocent and would have fought the allegations if she had been able to appear in court wearing a Chanel skirt, Jimmy Choo heels, and cosmetics.
