Season 12 of RHOBH premieres on Bravo on Wednesday with yet another legal drama, this time involving a terrifying break-in at cast member Dorit Kemsley’s Encino home.
Much of the episode is devoted to the Oct. 27 robbery, in which three intruders held Kemsley at gunpoint while her children slept nearby and stole an estimated $1 million in jewelry and handbags.

We learn that Kemsley, who had just returned from London, was jet-lagged and alone at home without her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, who was still in the United Kingdom at the time of the break-in.
Security camera footage shows a person in a hooded sweatshirt using a sharp object to shatter the glass patio door, then entering Kemsley’s home, and two other hooded men prowling the property.

Dorit stated that one of the robbers was holding her the entire time, and the other took her comforter and was stuffing all of her bags and jewelry into it.
She stated that when her bedroom door first opened, she assumed it was one of her children. Her two children, Phoenix, five, and Jagger, seven, have no idea what happened, and she expressed gratitude that she and her family were safe.
Andy shifted gears to ask Dorit and Kyle Richards, 53, for lighter fare. They both stated that they were rooting for Lisa Rinna rather than Sutton Stracke in the Elton John charity event drama.
Dorit also expressed her reaction to Sutton, 50, comparing her work problems to the terrifying armed robbery.

The next day, a distraught Kemsley visits her castmates and recounts her ordeal in greater detail, describing how she was getting ready for bed when one of the intruders charged at her with a gun and said, “I’m going to f— kill you.”
Kemsley directed the intruders to her valuables out of fear for her life. They stuffed “high-value jewelry and handbags” into a comforter for about 20 minutes before leaving at her request.
One of the intruders is seen on security video dragging a large white bundle across the patio. Kemsley claims she persuaded them to leave her phone near the property gate, which she found after counting to 40.
