Her representative has made it clear that the model did not, as an influencer has suggested, give her approval for a TikTok post that mocked Selena Gomez—Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend and the fiancée of Benny Blanco, who stars in Only Murders in the Building.
“This incident never happened,” the representative told E! News on March 9.
“The whole story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to cash in on an old narrative.”
On March 8, influencer Courtney Prest posted a TikTok video showing a screenshot that allegedly displayed Hailey’s “like” on a February 14 post. In this video, the TikToker ridiculed images from Interview magazine featuring Selena, commenting, “I can’t decide which is worse” and “I had to look at these so you do too.”
In her latest video, Courtney claimed,
“Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok.” “Please don’t come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady towards Selena Gomez.” “It was about these pictures, which they knew would provoke some kind of reaction.”
She also speculated,
“Hailey f– hates Sel.”
Both celebrities have often tried to quash feud rumors that have resurfaced since 2018, the year Hailey married Justin after a whirlwind romance, just months after his breakup with Selena following an eight-year on-and-off relationship. In a September interview with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Hailey addressed the persistent rumors about the timeline of her relationship with Justin.

“It’s so wild; I’ve never discussed this before,” she said, responding to claims that she dated Justin while he was still with Selena. “A lot of the negativity comes from the belief that I ‘stole’ him. It’s about people understanding the truth because there is a truth.”
According to Hailey, “not once” did their relationships overlap.
“When he and I started hooking up or anything like that, he was never in a relationship at that time. It’s not in my character to interfere.”
