Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Clash Over New Song Featuring North and Sean Combs
  • Kanye West and Kim Kardashian clash over new song featuring North and Sean Combs, Kim Kardashian opposed the song due to Diddy’s legal issues and sought to protect North through trademarking her name.
  • Kanye West released the song despite Kardashian’s legal actions and shared private conversations to escalate the dispute.
  • The song includes contributions from North West and Diddy’s son King Combs, amidst significant controversy surrounding its release.

Kanye West has just dropped a new song called “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” featuring his daughter North West alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs.

This decision has led to a major disagreement between West and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who is strongly against having their daughter be part of the track. Kardashian’s worries come from Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles, including serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. She’s taken steps to safeguard North by trademarking her name and trying to keep her out of the song.

The track kicks off with a phone call where Diddy expresses his gratitude to Kanye for looking after his kids, saying,

“I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain’t nobody reach out to them, ain’t nobody call them.”

Kanye responds with warmth, saying,

“Absolutely, I love you so much, man. You raised me. Even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?”

North West even makes her mark with a short rap verse:

“When you see me shining, then you see the light.”

Kanye also shared some text messages with Kardashian that reveal their clash over North’s role in the song. Kardashian pointed out that she had sent him legal documents to ensure North wouldn’t be involved, citing her trademark concerns.

Kanye shot back aggressively, saying,

“Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

Despite Kardashian’s reported cease and desist order to stop the song from coming out, Kanye went ahead and released it. This whole situation underscores the ongoing tension between West and Kardashian, especially regarding how their kids feature in his projects.
