Dominick’s entire body is now swelled and bandaged after sustaining second and third-degree burns to his face and legs on Sunday.

Kayla claimed her brother was playing in the backyard of their home off Louisiana Avenue with other children who live below them in the afternoon.

She said that an 8-year-old neighbor broke into a shed on the property and obtained gasoline and lighters. That’s when the youngster summoned Deegan’s younger brother.

“What he did was pour gasoline on a tennis ball, take a lighter, fire it up, and just toss it right in front of my brother’s face. And then ran away from him and watched him burn,” Deegan explained.

Dominick was brought to Bridgeport Hospital’s burn unit shortly before 4 p.m. Police stated Tuesday that they are looking into preliminary allegations of four unaccompanied youngsters who were spotted playing with gasoline and setting items on fire.

According to hospital officials, the kid is likely to recover. Dominick is fortunate to have survived the attack, but what happened to him has enraged loved ones, who claim that this isn’t the first time the accused bully has placed him in the hospital.
