FedEx sues MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell over $9 million in unpaid shipping fees
  • FedEx sues MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell over $9 million in unpaid shipping fees, MyPillow breached its contract with FedEx by failing to pay invoices since 2024.
  • DHL previously won a $778000 judgment against MyPillow for similar payment issues.
  • Financial struggles at MyPillow worsened after losing major retail partnerships.

FedEx has taken legal action against MyPillow, claiming the company owes nearly $9 million in unpaid shipping fees. The partnership between the two began in February 2021, but things reportedly soured when MyPillow started falling behind on payments.

Court filings reveal that by late 2024, the company had racked up $8.8 million in delivery charges and late fees, violating its agreement with FedEx.

In response, FedEx shifted MyPillow to a cash-only payment model in December 2024 and eventually cut ties altogether in January 2025 after receiving no payments despite repeated promises from CEO Mike Lindell.

This isn’t the first time MyPillow has faced such financial trouble. Earlier this year, a Minnesota court ordered the company to pay nearly $778,000 to DHL for unpaid invoices and related costs.

That judgment stemmed from a 2023 settlement agreement that MyPillow failed to honor, making only partial payments of just over $64,000.

DHL’s lawsuit highlighted contract violations requiring timely payments within 15 days of billing—terms that were ignored. Similarly, FedEx alleges that MyPillow began delaying payments as early as September 2024, leading to mounting penalties.

Adding to these challenges, MyPillow has been grappling with a financial crunch after losing partnerships with several major retailers over the past few years.
On top of that, Mike Lindell is embroiled in ongoing defamation lawsuits with Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic due to his claims of election fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Even his legal representation has faced complications because of unpaid bills, further highlighting the company’s financial struggles.
