Is Jared Padalecki Dead or Alive After Car Accident? Death Isn’t a Hoax: Jared Padalecki’s followers are currently concerned about his health. Jensen Ackles gives fans of Jared Padalecki some relief by confirming that his Supernatural co-star is recovering from a car accident.
The popular CW show, however, ended in 2020, and onscreen brothers Padalecki and Ackles have stayed close even as they have moved on to new projects. The Supernatural stars even reunited on the set of Padalecki’s current programme, the CW’s Walker, where Ackles served as a director for a recent season 2 episode.

This follows the two getting into a public spat over the upcoming Supernatural prequel “The Winchesters,” on which Ackles is a producer. Padalecki and Ackles initially appeared betrayed by the concept, but they have since publicly accommodated it. Padalecki and Ackles played brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, respectively, on Supernatural for 15 seasons. Supernatural has evolved to cult status, with a committed fandom that still maintains an active online presence, after attracting over 5.6 million viewers when the pilot initially aired.
The show is so well-liked and valued that the first fan convention was conducted in 2006, and more have been held on a near-annual basis since then. While the cast of Supernatural attends these conventions on a daily basis, one major star was absent this year, and for good reason. Ackles said to the audience in a video captured by strgazr04 at the Supernatural New Jersey convention that Padalecki would not be able to join him since the onetime Sam actor was involved in a “very severe automobile accident.”

While Ackles can’t say when the automobile accident happened, he did say that Padelecki “was not driving” and was in the passenger seat at the time. Fortunately, Ackles can also state that “no fatalities” occurred and that Padalecki was “recovering” and doing well. According to E! News, Ackles’ comment on Padelecki’s current situation is correct. After revealing that he witnessed the condition of the car later, Ackles goes on to say that Padalecki is “fortunate to be alive.”
Despite this, he extends his love and support to Padalecki, and the Supernatural fanbase has done the same. They quickly turned to Twitter to express their love and support for Padalecki, using the hashtags #WeLoveYouJaredPadalecki and #GetWellSoonJared. Padalecki has yet to make a social media comment about the incident, which is understandable given that he is still recovering from his injuries.
