Robison has asked for a respectful debate on transgender rights and healthcare policy. She added that the Government’s plans are not bringing up new rights, removing existing rights, and they are not impacting any single-s*x services.
Trans men and women are some of the most stigmatized people in Scotland. Shona added that she is concerned about the impact of all the heat relating to the policy, as it might stigmatize and marginalize trans people in the country.
