Daniel’s house on Duke Service Road caught fire on June 16, 2011. The Roanoake Chowan News-Herald reported that both of his vehicles and motorcycles were at the house, and the doors were shut. Inside Daniel’s residence, investigators were unable to find him, his body, or any blood.
