Gerson Fuentes is a 27-year-old Ohio man who got arrested for abusing a minor. The victim has been reported to be a child under 13 years of age. This is not staying well with netizens, and Twitter is raging over this incident.
He has been the center of attention ever since it was alleged that he was into aborting the child. Since Roe Vs. Wade got overruled, the intensity of people protesting for the rights of women has gone higher.
I would like to know the relation of Gerson Fuentes to the victim.
If he’s close to the family then it would explain why they went out of state to get the abortion, likely to cover for the crime. If so, those individuals should be charged as well.

This case has been taken as an example of why not allowing abortion was a bad idea by the government. However, on the other hand, some people say that regardless of the situation, it should be a mother’s decision what she wants to do with her unborn child. No one should get to interfere with it.
Hence, a major group does not agree with connecting these two scenarios. With different opinions and different thought processes, the sole interest is, however on the culprit.
10-Year-Old Assault Victim Confession & Abortion Details
In statements made at the arraignment court and in an announcement from Attorney General Dave Yost, the victim in the case was revealed to be a 10-year-old. Additionally, it was revealed that the victim had an abortion in Indianapolis.
The case recently became a flashpoint in the abortion debate after the Indianapolis Star reported that an Ohio doctor had contacted a doctor there for assistance in getting an abortion for the 10-year-old. Advocates challenged Ohio’s prohibition on abortions beyond around six weeks of pregnancy, and some people started to wonder if the story was even true.

Yost stated last week on Fox News that there was no case request for analysis that looks anything like that.
According to the Dispatch, Columbus police investigators testified in court on Wednesday that the abortion really did occur outside of the state. According to court documents, Fuentes is being detained under a $2 million bond. According to The Dispatch, a judge declared that the 27-year-old defendant was a flight risk and that, considering the ferocity of the crime, a large bond was required to protect the involved child.
The detectives said that the kid’s mother referred the girl to the local child services branch on June 22, which is how police first learned of the girl’s pregnancy. The girl reportedly had a medical abortion in Indianapolis eight days later. According to court records, the rape happened on May 12.
