A man named Dr. Raheem Smith is said to be treating Lil Tjay in the hospital. However, the person mentioned is not available on the internet. Therefore, there are just rumors about how this alleged doctor said that the rapper is brain dead and his chances of survival are very less.

On the other hand, another user on Twitter mentioned that Doctor Diego Pedro Martinez said he has a 15% chance of survival, and even if he survives, he will take on the damages for the rest of his life.

Officials said that during an attempted armed robbery early on Wednesday in New Jersey, rapper Lil Tjay was shot several times. There was another victim as well. In addition, gunfire reportedly broke out at a Chipotle restaurant in a residential and outdoor shopping complex in Edgewater.

According to the district attorney’s office, Tione Jayden Merritt was found with multiple gunshot wounds by the Edgewater Police Department after they responded to a 911 call about the shooting at 12:08 a.m.

They said he was rushed to the hospital to get treated, but on social media early on Saturday, there were rumors that he had been declared dead and taken off life support.

And that was when the name of his alleged doctors circulated online, but there is no information about these supposed doctors. Thus, some people may have circulated the fake news and used a random person’s name, mentioning them as his doctor so that people would believe it.

There is no information on who is treating Lil Tjay at present. It is also not disclosed which hospital the victims were taken to.

TMZ was the first to report about the shooting and the wounded rapper. They had said that he was undergoing emergency surgery on Wednesday.

Later that day, there were reports that a critically injured victim was stable, and the other victim was in good condition and had non-life-threatening wounds.
