Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have just dropped their latest collaborative track, “Sunset Blvd,” along with a sultry music video.
This song draws inspiration from their first date on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, a moment they recently celebrated by revisiting Jitlada Thai Restaurant, where it all began. “Sunset Blvd” is the third single from their upcoming album, “I Said I Love You First,” which is set to come out on March 21.

In the music video, directed by Petra Collins, Selena is captured in a nostalgic and romantic atmosphere, often daydreaming about Benny. It features some playful moments, like Benny appearing in a tiny version of himself, and ends with a fun twist where Selena pretends to take a bite out of him. The lyrics are bold, with Selena showing her desire to embrace Blanco’s “big hard heart,” all while delivering those sultry vocals we love.
“Sunset Blvd” follows their earlier singles “Scared of Loving You,” co-written with Finneas, and “Call Me When You Break Up,” which features Gracie Abrams.
The album tells their love story, chronicling their journey from before they met to their evolving relationship and future dreams together. Selena and Benny’s collaboration showcases the comfort and chemistry they share when creating music.
The album will also see features from artists like J. Balvin and Tainy. For Selena, this release is her first since 2020’s “Rare,” while Benny hasn’t put out a new album since 2018’s “Friends Keep Secrets.”
With their engagement in December 2024, there’s a personal flair to their musical project, making “I Said I Love You First” something fans are eagerly anticipating.
